Description
Introduction
The universal playing cards are intended to support an open design of board games, that is promoted on my blog *game pieces not included.
They are designed to easily simulate a wide range of existing non-standard playing cards (or more generally, the cards’ part of board games) and to encourage designing new board games based on universal tools.
Design principles
- three categories (color, shape, number)
- six elements in each category
- the most basic, easily distinguishable colors (black, white, red, green, blue, yellow) and shapes (circle, square, triangle, star, cross, clover)
